Katya Komarova has 10 years of experience in public relations and integrated communications in the UK, Russia, Ukraine, and the USA, both with agencies and in-house. Before she founded Wits PR, Katya was the Communications Director for Russia at consumer technology startup Houzz and built brand awareness in a new market from the ground up.Katya delivered outstanding service to global clients in tech, energy, consumer and professional services sectors, including Danone (US: Dannon), Group Bel, EY, and Adecco. Since 2016, Katya Komarova has been teaching public relations at the University of South Florida. In her signature Campaigns class, she has helped students develop integrated communications plans for 120 + corporate clients, including big-name charities, such as Meals on Wheels and Big Brothers Big Sisters, national retail brands, such as Lush Cosmetics, and leading entertainment venues, such as Busch Gardens. Katya seeks inspiration from attending world's largest technology events, including TC Disrupt, eMerge Americas, Synapse Summit, and SXSW. She loves meeting talented founders, networking with the media, and exploring new tech.
